Redesignah: R Watts

Welcome to my page which features all of my most recent work during my time studying to become a professional interior/spatial designer and after.
The main programme I use to create my visual design images is vectorworks, but I can also use 3Ds Max, Cinema4D and Photoshop. As for any skill, I am still learning and refining my methods and approach when arranging my visuals for presentation. Sometimes I also make models and collages, but I maily present my final work in digital images like the ones you are about to see.
I am initially an interior designer but I am also a spatial designer which covers all areas from a small bit of architectural redesign to outdoor/landscaping design. The main thing I am interested in as a designer, however, is how people use space and interiors. As a creative designer, I aim to be conceptual in my approach but also realistic. I am Rebekah Watts: I'm a Redesignah.

City Allotment Cambria House, Kings Cross

Cambria House is run by the Salvation Army Housing Association, it is a second stage resettlement centre for single men as part of the London Borough of Camden's pathway plan for homeless men as the final stage before independant living
.

The brief was pretty simple in this case.
Cambria house residents wanted me to "Give us a garden, within the city of London, where we can grow and plant vegetables and fruit."
The aim of the space was to give the residents a place to grow their own food and develop gardening skills. The space could also be used as a place to relax and socialise.
